The membership of AAS includes mental health and public health professionals, researchers, suicide prevention and crisis intervention centers, school districts, crisis center volunteers, survivors of suicide loss, attempt survivors, and a variety of lay persons who have in interest in suicide prevention.
We offer an incredibly wide variety of resources regarding everything related to suicide and its prevention, including: Facts and statistics, training and accreditation, the Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior Journal, Resources for Attempt Survivors, a list of our accredited crisis centers. We also operate the #AAS365 Campaign and The National Center for the Prevention of Youth Suicide.
